"This was a need to stop to get rest and continue the road trip tomorrow stop. The woman at checkin was pleasant, friendly and helpful. The price is excellent, you get a clean, king size bed in a sparsely decorated room. Car right outside our door and was quiet. No breakfast, which is fine. Limited TV stations. We had an excellent sleep and continued our journey the next morning. If needed we would stay here again."

"The property was beautiful. Absolutely peaceful and secluded. There’s a steep trail right off the property. It’s not well marked, but if you have experience hiking and navigating (and have a gps device like a Garmin watch) it is so convenient and gives a good challenge. My husband and I enjoyed hiking Grayson Highlands and went into town for dinner at the Wooden Pickle. The hot tub felt really good on our sore muscles after a long day of hiking. It was such a great weekend to relax and reset. We didn’t want to leave and plan on coming back!"

"This stunning cabin was everything we were looking for. Remote enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. Yet close enough to civilization. SO MUCH to explore although there is no reason to leave the property. It has everything. I am so happy we chose Lansing. We'll be sure to be back! Hal and Margie, the hosts with the most! "Great little house for a couple or small family. My kids loved the creek and the hot tub. My only suggestion would be to make sure you bring everything you need for your stay, full service grocery stores are not close. If you are handicapped/ have trouble walking it might be difficult to get in the cabin, land was rocky and small amount of stairs . For us it was fine. Also if you are over 6 foot tall your head will touch in places. I’m a little over five foot and I could touch the ceilings. The house was very clean, had all the basic cooking and kitchen needs. Great place if you really want quiet and just to hear the natural water flow."
