"We had a wonderful stay. The cabin had everything we were looking for and more—beautifully decorated, well appointed, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, communication with the host was excellent, and parking was convenient. It was also very pet-friendly—our dog loved it there. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed here for one night as a halfway point to Florida. It was a very cute log cabin. The kids loved the lake to fish in and the one right down the street as well. The pool had a lot of leaves in it but there are a lot of trees around. It was a wonderful stop along the way. "

"We recently stayed at this hotel while visiting Savannah and had a lot to like about the experience. The building itself is beautiful and full of historic character, which really adds to the charm of staying in Savannah. The rooms were well-appointed, comfortable, and nicely maintained, blending modern conveniences with the character you’d hope to find in a historic property.
The location was another major highlight. It was easy to walk to Old Town Savannah, the riverfront, historic squares, restaurants, shops, and many of the city’s most popular attractions. We were able to leave the car parked and explore much of the city on foot.
Unfortunately, our stay was significantly impacted by noise from another guest room. Late in the evening, a group of partiers arrived in the room above us. For several hours there was constant noise from items being dropped or moved across the floor, making it difficult to sleep. The disturbance continued until around 3:00 a.m., when one of the guests began vomiting loudly. While we understand that hotels cannot completely control guest behavior, the lack of a peaceful night’s sleep put a damper on an otherwise enjoyable stay.
Overall, this is a beautiful historic hotel with comfortable rooms and an excellent location for exploring Savannah. If you’re looking for charm and convenience, it delivers."
Holiday Inn Express Savannah - Historic District by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Savannah Historic District and had an amazing time overall. The location was fantastic and made it easy to explore everything in the Historic District. Our room was very clean, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay.
The only downside was the valet parking fee, which was about $48 per night. However, parking is expensive throughout the Historic District, so I was aware of that before booking. The breakfast hours were also a little earlier than I would have liked (6:00 AM–9:00 AM). Extending it until 10:00 AM would have been nice for guests on vacation.
One thing that did bother us was that dogs were allowed in the breakfast area. It had been raining, and one wet dog was shaking off water near where people were eating, which made us uncomfortable. Because of that, we chose to eat breakfast outside the hotel instead. If I stay again, I probably wouldn't purchase the breakfast option.
Other than those minor issues, we had a wonderful stay. The clean rooms, excellent staff, and unbeatable location made it a great experience. I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to friends and family."
