Dirty, noisy. Lots of long-term residents living there. Dogs barking, and scratching in other rooms. The place smelled really weird. Did not feel safe in the hallways or parking lot.

I wanted to write an honest review. I’d give it a 6.5 out of 10. We didn’t have the highest expectations but we were pleasantly surprised. There’s a lot of negative reviews on here but we didn’t experience any issues at all. Property was clean. Bathroom was updated. Kitchenette was nice. Clean bedding without bugs. I’m fairly picky and I have no complaints. Worth the price.

Good for the $

I liked the hotel. It was very spare but clean and there was a great restaurant across the street, Tikka Taco (Indian/Mexican, good Margaritas). There is a laundry room on the first floor and a lobby. There was a locked door before you entered the room hallway. However, it is on a highway. So, if you are a light sleeper or want to sleep in, go elsewhere.

Let me preface my review- The location was the ONLY reason we stayed. We had to Walmart delivery clean blankets, air fresheners, and Lysol wipes to wipe all surfaces down. The floors, though thank God not carpeted rooms, are all beyond filthy and I won’t even get started on all the bodily fluids found a fixed to the walls, like they were artwork or something to be admired. We flew in for the Bourbon & Beyond Festival, so thankfully we only used the room to sleep and get ready, had we needed anything more than a bed and shower, we couldn’t have stayed. Even a “non-smoking” room is beyond smoke smelling. The staff was friendly and did provide a clean set of sheets (without an additional sheet surcharge that supposedly is a norm!?) because when I went to inspect for bed bugs, I found too many body/pubic hairs to count under the fitted sheet but above the mattress protector sheet. So after covering with another fitted sheet, top sheet, and using our purchased blankets it was doable for a few short nights. Buyer beware- you get what you pay for!! Had we had ANY other option of places to stay, we would’ve turned immediately around upon entering.

Stayed here for Equip Expo. It is walkable to Gate 6 of the expo center. I liked the fact that it had a shower/tub combo instead of just a shower like the hotel down the street. This side of the expo center is in a little bit of a shady neighbor. At this hotel, they have the train tracks on one side of the hotel and the interstate directly behind the hotel and a busy street in front so it is not quiet. The rooms had hard surfaces instead of carpet and the room itself was clean. The hallways are still carpeted and they weren't so clean and you could obviously smell several rooms partaking in the 420 even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking hotel with strict penalties for smoking (clearly not being enforced). The kitchenette in the room is nice with a full sized fridge/freezer and microwave and stove top and sink. Good price, easy parking.

It said there was someone at the desk for check in until 11:00. I arrived at 10:45 due to an emergency in the area….a plane crashed at the airport and all roads were shut down. I could not check in because no one was there. I tried using the house phone to call and kept getting hung up on. I was not able to stay there but was charged.

Property was only a 15 minute walk to the KEC which was very convenient. I liked that my room had a kitchenette. The floor above me was noisy and the toilet seat in my bathroom did not fit the toilet so was awkward to use. Room was a little dirty but useable. Overall room and property got the job done for my stay for Bourbon and Beyond.
