The massages were superficial and could be considered a relaxation massage at best. We both asked the masseuse to apply more pressure, but they must have not been very experienced because they did were not receptive. "The automated check in is fine and the building / rooms are new and well appointed but it doesn’t count for much when there’s a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. I spent all evening with the windows open just to sleep and as there is nobody on site, there’s no way of moving rooms or getting it seen to."

"The staff at this hotel, both Reception and at Breakfast, were excellent. Very friendly and willing to assist when required. This hotel is so well located in the centre of Oberstdorf. You could not ask for better. We had a large bedroom with an excellent shower and toilet facility. Nevertheless, two areas to point out.
