"Had the most wonderful stay at Bolton Farm. Usually when coming to stay at places it lacks utensils and facilities, however Bolton Farm had everything you needed. The hosts kept the house and hot tub clean/heated throughout our stay. Perfect location with lovely views of fields. Lovely little Italian about a 5 minute walk away. Short drive into Durham itself. Thank you so much for making my dad's birthday a special one!"

Parking was okay once we figured out where the long stay lot is - but there is free 2 hour parking in the market just across the road. So very convenient...

"This was a nice room for two people and all the facilities were as described. The photos are an accurate representation. Great communication via WhatsApp/text with Kelvin House prior to our departure, which was greatly appreciated. It would be useful to have a mirror in the room as well as in the shared bathroom. We had to wait 20 minutes for the bathroom to be vacated by the folks in the other room in order to use the mirror. The bed pillows were the bolster type and gave us both a stiff neck on the first morning. We had to borrow two normal pillows from relatives in the area so that we could get a good night's sleep. Overall, great accommodation for a short stay in the area though in future we will opt for en suite accommodation."

"We arrived tired after travelling most of the day but found that we had made an error on the booking. Abbie on reception took it upon herself to sort out the error and advised us to relax in the bar while she sorted it out. We cannot thank her enough for her help and kindness which really made our stay so very special. THANK YOU Abbie."
