"the room was good. The hotel was quiet which was nice and one of the things we appreciate most. One of the 2 elevators broke on the first night and remained down for the remainder of our stay, but was not too inconvenient. The staff was always helpful when needed."

"Well appointed rooms. Lively lobby space and restaurant, the only downside is that you have to often walk single file to your room if it's on the opposite side of the bar when it's busy. Staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The hotel is in a quiet location with city centre a brisk fifteen minute walk away."

"The hotel is located well and I would stay here again if I needed to but would probably choose to try another hotel next time I’m in Edinburgh. The room was serviceable, quite small with little storage and the view was a fire exit stairs ( we spend most of our time out and about so not a massive issue ). My partner felt let down that the cleaning staff came to make up the room late in the afternoon after we had been out all day and we were about to start to get ready for a dinner reservation. Getting seated and served in the bar was initially easy but depending on the staff it was sometimes hard to order another round or get the bill."
