"My husband and I stayed at this property all of August 2023, and it was perfect for us. It's only half a mile from the state capitol, and you can see if from the porch - a beautiful view, especially at night. Chris took care of all our needs, and we were comfortable and had all we needed. Highly recommended if you like to be right in the middle of all the action - the lake, great bars, downtown square, grocery store, and just a quick bike ride to the university campus. "We enjoyed our stay, but a few things were missing/wrong. We tried to use the VRBO app to give us directions to the apt. Thing is it took us to a rural farm house. Knowing that couldn't be correct we entered the address into Goggle maps and at least got close. The kitchen garbage can was very, very tiny. Had to bag up our garbage in plastic bags our food from the grocery store came in. There was no dish soap or dish cloth and only 1 towel in the kitchen. The bedroom window has a security light...

The pictures are accurate, it’s a big beautiful Wisconsin cabin. Brian and Daniel were extremely responsive to any questions we had, and even shipped some shoes that I left there back to me! We could not have been happier with our stay, and would rent this house again without question."
