We could easily walk everywhere and we loved the park across the street looking out on the water. Edenton has so much history to explore and good food. It was a true delight. Hope to come back soon. "Breakfast was really good. King bed was made from two twin mattresses with a thick topper and was not very comfortable. Staff was very polite and helpful."

"Lovely b and b. Historically elegant, but rustic too. The owner and her staff were great hosts. Recommend they improve the directions of the automatic sensor lights. Someone or something set them off throughout the night causing the room to light up like a sunny day at the beach."

"This house is very lovely and spacious. It's equipped with everything a home would have, plus coffee, water and treats. I will never be able to say enough about how beautiful the host is. She truly has a sweet spirit and a interest in making her guest feel comfortable.Wonderful place to stay."

"House is great location to walk to downtown. Kitchen not well supplied for cooking. Toilet in downstairs bath bubbled into sink with each flush. Showerhead of downstairs bathroom needs to be replaced, only 3 streams of water come out and should be 2 shower doors to prevent water overspray. Antique doorknobs are pretty but kept falling off. "

"Absolutely perfect! Modernized historic home in a Historic town. The home had all the comforts of home, including spices, cast iron pans, oilve oil and different types of coffee/tea pots. The home offered several different spaces to enjoy, both indoors and out. Our boys enjoyed thecottage as their living space. "
