"This home was perfect for my family to stay in for a long weekend to be near my daughter’s Fairfax wedding. The home was easy to locate, near shopping and restaurants, and was exactly as it appeared in the photos (just as spacious!!).The home was clean, easy to enter, and very homey feeling. There was also plenty of onsite parking. The host was easy to contact. Thank you, Lilian!!"

"We had a great stay at this home. It was very clean and had a charming old Hollywood California bungalow feel; high ceilings, beautiful character, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that felt straight out of films.The decor was tasteful without being cluttered, and the home had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like providing toilet paper, shampoo, granola bars and coffee, which made settling in easy without an immediate grocery run.The neighborhood is lovely, quiet and very walkable. It was easy to stroll to nearby restaurants and shops in San Rafael, which made the location especially convenient.It’s an older home, which really adds to its charm and character- just something to keep in mind that some features, like the bathroom and lighting, reflect that vintage style. It didn’t impact our stay at all, but helpful to know if you’re used to more modern setups.Overall, a cozy, character-filled place in a fantastic location. We’d definitely stay again."

"We were completely satisfied with our rental experience. 16 adult family members and 3 small grandbabies all stayed comfortably for my mother’s memorial in her 100th year. We were able to work in the kitchen together, which was well stocked with all hard goods, and working appliances. there were not pantry items, such as spices or other cooking basics. But that was OK and not expected. Coffee, tea and espresso machine were nice touch. plenty of space to be together indoors and separate with multiple outdoor spaces for time alone. The house was well described on the website and the host’s communication and responsiveness was excellent (hangers, a couple blankets). The house wasn’t soundproof, of course, but did mask significant amount of the noise of a large group. The two guests staying in the 2 bed loft were very flexible, but it would not be an ideal setting for someone who requires full privacy or significant quiet. we spaced out the small children on the 3 floors so they didn’t keep each other awake. And the family was very tolerant of each other. The location is perfect, gorgeous view, close to everything, but does require driving. parking worked out just fine as we had only five cars for the seven parking spaces. everyone was thrilled with the accommodations I arranged. The only suggestions made were for an extra night light in the lower level hallway, and one bed being “slightly uncomfortable” (I did not notice it when I tested it). Thank you for our lovely stay. "
