"We had an outstanding time at this beautifully located accommodation, surrounded by peace and nature. The atmosphere was very warm and family-like, especially during dinner, which is available on request and felt more like a shared meal among friends than a restaurant experience. "This hotel is slightly quirky but is very nice. I slept very well here and enjoy my room and the view over the valley. I didn’t eat at the restaurant for breakfast or dinner and I wanted something light, so can’t comment on the food. The view from the restaurant looked amazing.
The only thing that would make the stay better would be to provide guests with a kettle to make tea or coffee in their rooms. I will definitely stay here again.

"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat.
We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

"We spent a wonderful week at La Bourgarde and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The property was perfect – just a short walk into Castelnaud for morning pastries and close enough to enjoy an afternoon swim. The location made it easy to pack in so many activities, and our whole family loved every moment. Check-in was seamless, and the host was excellent with communication and helpful advice throughout our stay. We will definitely be returning – highly recommended!"
"The house was equally as good as the photographs suggested, if not better. The location really is excellent. A two-minute walk from the restaurants and shops of the village, including a kayak station, as well as a less than 10-minute walk up to the castle. However, because the house is situated above the Main Street, and looking out to amazing views, you feel detached from the hubbub below and can enjoy peace at all times of the day. It was very hot when we stayed, hitting 40 Celsius, but the house stayed cool, with a/c benefitting in the bedrooms, and the pool was of course a great asset. Having convenient and free parking was also helpful."

"We booked Chez Suzy for a family reunion, and it was perfect. 7 berooms, most ensuite. Facilities were great too with a lovely pool and gardens. Nice bbq area with a choice of either charcoal or gas. We dined outside as we barbecued most nights with the seating area more than adequate for our number. Most of the family drove from the UK, Germany and Gibraltar and more than enough room for the 3 cars.We highly recommend and hopefully we can visit again.Evelyne proved a lovely host and was always available if needed. "Everything about our stay at La Petite Maison was perfect. The house itself was charming, beautifully maintained, and felt like stepping into a dream. Waking up each day in such a picturesque setting was pure magic. The weather was fantastic during our visit, making it easy to enjoy the stunning views and peaceful surroundings. The area hiking is extraordinary - we highly recommend the hike from Beynac to La Roque - Gaga. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base in Beynac—truly an unforgettable week!"
"There are not enough words to describe this lovely part of France. We have been to France many times but this area is amazing. Mont Joie exceeded all expectations. A beautiful property set above the Dordogne where we were provided all amenities and more. We were able to relax and enjoy our time together. Martine is a joy, she helped us in so many ways!
