River Lodge and Cabins

10/10 Excellent

"Such a nice place to stay for our trip to La Salle, Oregon for a wedding. The hotel is along the Columbia River and the view of the river, and the surrounding grounds are beautiful. There is a three-mile walking trail in front of the hotel which we enjoyed after our dinner at the hotel. The rooms, lobby and grounds are all clean & well maintained. We stayed two nights and on the first day we told a maid that it wasn't necessary to clean our room, but we came back to our room spotlessly clean, and it was very much welcomed after our long day of driving. Something to note is the location of the hotel is in an industrial area without any close shopping, but we found the hotel restaurant to be very affordable. When we arrived late back to the hotel our second night, the restaurant was due to close in about 20 minutes, but the staff prepared us an amazing meal for us to enjoy in our room, such great service! We were more than pleased with our stay at the River Lodge and Cabins. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends and family."

"The staff is fantastic. Very kind and accommodating. The first room I stayed in was older. Clean but worn. The second room had been updated and was really nice. I marked down cleanliness because when walking down the halls the carpet has debris on it that is there for days at a time. Otherwise, this is where I stay when I drive through BC."

"Excellent staff upon checking in. Room was large and very clean. Everything was right next morning the breakfast room was very clean and ample seating. Everything was on the menu that I wanted and staff filled my plate. The entire experience was a quiet and relaxing experience. Five stars for sure"

"This hotel is Amazing. My only negative was that I got there to check in after 11pm so the lobby was closed, They provided a number to call for late check-in but I felt really bad having to wake someone up and get them out of bed to check us in after 11pm. As a traveling musician I often can’t get to a place until after closing time, so it’s a bonus if there’s an actual late check-in process without having to tear somebody away from their sleep time to take care of us. But I understand, it’s probably not practical to keep someone there working all night for a few oddballs like me. Other than that, the hotel was amazing, I only wish I’d have had more time to experience all the amenities. I’ll definitely be back!"
