Proprietor Charlie and companion (sheepdog) Rosie have faithfully renovated this 1920’s hotel in period style plus a few updates like air conditioning and WiFi. Charlie is a gracious host and is very knowledgeable about the history of the area. A great departure from the day to day. "

"The front desk girl was new and very friendly. I was very impressed by the woman (manager or owner) that came to assist her in helping me with the reservation. She was very professional, and I could tell that she really cared about the new employee and her training process. I'm an employer myself and was grateful for how courteous everyone was and how the employees are treated. Overall good experience-- last minute bargain for a work trip with a cozy and clean room. "
