"The room was very clean...the TV didn't work on the first day but was fixed the next day. Bed was super comfy. There's basically no breakfast except for coffee and a waffle maker."

"It's one of the newer hotels in Ruston and yet my room had significant water damage to the ceiling. I'm from the area and come back 5-6 times a year. Typically staying at the Holiday Inn. Very disappointed no one has reached out to me after requesting mamager comtact me. "

"Spacious with great amenities and opportunities for excellent interactions with guests and family members. Restricted access to television and local TV, must rely on your own streaming capability. Large outdoor area including porches and yard space. All in all, a very good property, well maintained with easy access to local eateries, activities, universities, etc."

"Great place for a family vacation! Full stocked home with an amazing dock. Everything you could ask for and more. The dock was our favorite place to hang out with the large decks and furniture to enjoy the lake. Definitely our top lake vacation rental for a larger family. "

"Our family has started making Paw Paw’s place a yearly getaway. Ms Dawn always goes above and beyond to make sure the house is clean and fully stocked. Just about anything you would need is at the house. The furniture updates are nice and comfortable. The property is beautiful and has plenty to do. We enjoy spending most of the day fishing and relaxing by the pond. Our pup also has a fun time walking around the pond and exploring the property. Hoping to make many more memories at Paw Paw’s place. "

"This was a terrible experience. After a 10 hr drive, we arrived at the house at 8:40 pm, and could not get in. Contacted the host, and he said, Oh, my cleaning lady is late (check-in was a 3pm), and if we leave & come back in 30 min, it can be ready. We asked for a refund, and he tried to turn the situation on us, stating that we were not willing to leave and let them clean and come back. We had to call VRBO and after a 53 min call we were refunded. No other VRBO properties or hotels were available in the area. Luckily, we were able to do something through a connection. DO NOT deal with this owner!!! Also, the location for this property is not the greatest area-and there is another house right in front of this one. This is my first time giving a negative review-please take heed!"
