"Excellent place for a family vacation "

"Wonderful resort for a family. Quiet resort, great pools and the breakfast buffet was excellent. We has a large 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite. Large balcony to spend evenings on."

"Property was very clean , well kept . Room was cleaned daily and a/c worked well . Really noce pool except had many small blue tiles missing from the bottom . Food was good at the restaurants but the buffed was a little small and always a long line at the egg/omelet station . Also there was only bacon on Friday ,, I love bacon , lol . Beach was awesome , clean , perfect water . Never found any servers to bring drinks on the beach but the bar was close by . Security was great and had police presence on the beach every day , never felt unsafe . Will definitly return !!! "

"We had a great stay overall. The hotel is located right in the main tourist area, close to everything and surrounded by other hotels, which is very convenient. The beach is absolutely beautiful, and we were lucky as there was almost no seaweed during our stay. Only one day, right before we left, a lot of sargassum washed in. We were barefoot most of the time since there’s sand everywhere, which adds to the relaxed, laid-back vibe. The dive center is excellent — very friendly and they take great care of you. We had an amazing diving experience with them. Breakfast is okay, nothing special. The beach restaurant is very good, although a bit pricey — but that’s expected in a very touristy area. We truly enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back."

"Bananarama was just a real fun atmosphere. The bar and restaurant were great, the beach area was clean and well maintained. The resort is centrally located so you are close to all restaurants and beach bars on either side. The mini mall behind the resort has all kinds of shops and restaurants for anything you need. I would highly recommend Bananarama to anyone wanting to get the best West Bay experience!"

"This hotel was great the staff was very helpful and were very friendly. We had a 2 bedroom not to bad my only thing to add is we didnt have a mini fridge. We did have a microwave which was nice. The bathroom didnt have the basic hair dryer but we didnt need it anyway since its too hot and your at the beach all day. The rooms were cleaned daily with clean towels, trash cleaned and we had free breakfast included. Overall it was a nice hotel walking distance to beach with great staff and we enjoyed our stay. It is dated but not bad considering the price and you have all that you need for your stay. Would stay here again. "

"Breakfast was very good with about 4 different options. The rooms were a good size and the large balcony was very nice. Loved the modern kitchen with blender, dishwasher and large fridge! You need to supply your own dish tabs & cloths. We loved the large pool and swim up bar. The staff is very friendly. It would have been nice to have a happy hour or discounted cocktails included in the package. Overall I would highly recommend Acqua di Mare and would definitely stay here again!"

"Clean room and property, mostly friendly staff, and not a bunch of rude guests like most bigger resorts. It's not on the beach which we knew going into it, but not a far walk to the Mayan beach or pool. There were never any beach chairs avaliable but really didn't bother us. Breakfast was decent and the young man working in there was extremely polite and friendly. If you're looking for a 5 star resort on the beach this isn't it, but it's a nice resort with a "small town" feel. We moved to Infinity Bay after this and while it was more upscale, I'd definitely come back here before returning to Infinity Bay. Overall a great stay"
