Sequoia Hollow Hole - Magical & Whimsical Earth-Berm Riverfront
10/10 Excellent
"This house is just as fantastically whimsically decorated as the pictures suggested. My family was delighted by the details - big and small - that made it feel like more than just a rental house. The house was CLEAN, well maintained, and well stocked. The check-in process was easy with clear directions. The host was always very responsive. The kitchen was well stocked and again, the decor was on point. I loved the lighting, with modern bright lights when needed, but lower light lamps when we wanted that ambiance. The path down to the river was fun and the sound of the river running by the house was peaceful to enjoy. The AC was life-saving, since it was in the hundreds outside during our stay. The house was comfortable. The towels were washed in a scented detergent, which is probably lovely to most, but FYI if you are sensitive to smells. The EV charger on-site made taking our EV into the park possible, but it's a public charger and rather expensive. Worth it. I would absolutely stay here again, it was a very fun experience."

The Gateway Restaurant & Lodge

"Upon entering the unit it was very welcoming. Towels arranged nicely for everyone, the rooms were comfortably cool with outside temp in triple digits, the beds were comfortable and we all loved the view from the deck with the sound of the running water over the beautiful rocks and comfortable chairs on the deck allowing you to sit and feel the peace and quiet that comes from nature's surroundings."
"River Retreat House" - River With Two Decks, BBQ, Firepit🔥, near Sequoia Park
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great time here! Family loved the place. The PacMan arcade game was a nice touch to add a little entertainment for my 8 year old daughter. Wild life was abundant. Met what I would say is the neighborhood male deer. Came to visit a couple mornings. Also saw foxes, racoons, and turkeys driving in. Depended on the time of day. Daughter also liked relaxing on the rocks next to the river. Could imagine us going back. Its off the beaten path but thats what we were looking for. Beds were comfy too. Days were extremely hot when there but fortunately had AC. There was power outage one day but fortunately we had plans going to Sequoia which is a lot cooler. Slick Rock recreation area is also nearby which was a hit as well"
Paradise Ranch Inn
10/10 Excellent
"A 10/10 experience from start to finish. Was one of those places that somehow exceeds the photos, and we left already talking about when we could come back. The highlight for us was swimming in the freshwater canyons nearby, genuinely one of the most fun afternoons we’ve had on any trip. Cool, clear water, gorgeous scenery, and the kind of thing you just don’t get at a typical hotel. We also saw a ton of wildlife around the property, which made every walk feel like a small adventure. Then at night the stars come out and it’s a whole other reason to be here. Very little light pollution, so you get that full sky you forget exists until you’re standing under it. The staff deserve a special mention. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help with anything — recommendations, directions, logistics. They made the whole stay feel effortless."
Charming House Inside the Gate of Sequoia National Park
10/10 Excellent
"What a great house! It fit our family of 5 perfectly! Plenty of room for us! The view is gorgeous and wonderful to sit on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning! Beds were clean and comfy. Being inside the park was perfect! There were lizards around ( we love lizards!) and the cutest bunch of quail. Loved watching the woodpeckers in the morning. We really enjoyed our stay!"
Sequoia Village

Ash Mountain Suite 1 mile to Sequoia Natl Park!
10/10 Excellent
"The host provided many details about the property (e.g. very limited cell coverage so print out driving instructions in advance), surrounding stores (e.g. restaurants, markets, museums, etc.), and tips about our primary trip (good time to be in line at the National Park entrance). The hosts provided a complimentary snack basket with a couple of bottles of water which was very kind. The cabin was charming, exceptionally clean and I love that it was bright and smelled nice. I highly recommend this property! I have already let a few friends know that are planning trips this year."
