"Staff are incredibly nice and our stay was wonderful! The setting is beautiful and peaceful; excellent choice for outdoor enthusiasts and joining with nature. The description of Silver City should be updated on Hotels.com to more accurately describe the accommodations, however. This is an extremely remote and rustic place and anyone that has a serious medical condition or physical limitations should speak with staff directly before booking to ensure they understand where they are going. A reliable car is also essential to make it up the mountain. "

"Very nice host. The place is very cozy and nostalgic. Close to Sequoia park entrance. Once entered the mountain area, my carrier is T-Mobil and there is no signal at all in Three Rivers. host offers wifi, but WiFi won’t be able to support video streaming online. There are board games and many books for guests to kill the time. The WiFi module makes some noise and if it truly bothers, you can unplug it before bed. Overall great experience! "

"The house was exceptionally nice and the views were extraordinary. It is a little quirky (there's a fire pool) and the driveway was steep. The parks involved a lot of driving but wow. I've been in many if not of the national parks and these are top echelon. "

"The Gateway is one of our new favorite spots to stay! The hotel is a well-maintained but older. All the amenities are great and well-maintained as well. Our room was super comfy, and a nice bed. The restaurant was fantastic, amazing food that was well worth the price. Amazing view at night, with great ambiance. The staff was super friendly, and did a great job!"

"This place was so cute. My husband and I stayed here for just one night but we enjoyed the convenience to Sequoia National Park. It was literally minutes to the park entrance! There was a little convenience store with a deli in it next door that we walked to for takeout dinner. That food was delicious. This place is an adorable little gem. "
