"Perfect winter getaway. This is a spacious, thoughtfully designed cottage with huge windows and fantastic lake views set on an expansive, peaceful property. Everything about the stay felt intentional and welcoming. We will absolutely be back.Beautiful, quiet setting with easy access year-round. The sanded stairs down to the lake made winter access safe and simple. We enjoyed lovely walks across the frozen lake and explored nearby trails at Frontenac Provincial Park and Gould Conservation Area, approximately 10 and 25 minutes away, even in snowy conditions.Exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed and more. Highlights included a beautiful pool table, a great fire pit, and a hot tub overlooking the lake. A particularly nice touch was the slippers at the door leading out to the hot tub. The wood-burning stove was fully prepared with matches, newspaper, kindling, logs, and even an axe right there, a small detail that made a big difference.Immaculately clean. The house felt fresh and well cared for throughout. The interior was filled with healthy, thriving plants that honestly looked fake at first, especially impressive for January.The owners clearly care about making each stay special. From the preparation of the firewood to the overall comfort and presentation of the home, everything reflected pride of ownership and genuine hospitality.Absolutely.
