Your Mountain Retreat Awaits at Cascade Village

Do you hear it? The mountains are calling and our home in Cascade Village is the answer. Our spacious 3-bed/3-bath home is the perfect place for families and friends to spend time in the beautiful San Juan mountains of Colorado. Step out the front door, and you are hiking in the San Juan National Forest. Take in the majesty of the San Juan mountains including the famous "Needles" peaks from our two decks with wonderful, unobstructed views of Engineer Peak and numerous '14ers'. You can be on the slopes in a matter of minutes with Purgatory ski resort just one mile south offering world-class skiing in the winter, and countless summer activities. A short 20-minute drive down the road and you will be in Durango experiencing all the joys of this wonderful mountain town.

Cascade Village offers some of the best on-site amenities in the area. Kids of all ages will love the game room and indoor pool, hot tub, and dry sauna. Book a meal at the private restaurant, or rent your skis at the private ski shop.

We chose our home and this particular location because of the peaceful surroundings and endless, year-round activities. We know you will make wonderful memories in Cascade Village, and we look forward to hosting you for your next mountain vacation!

Awesome getaway

Beautiful condo located super close to Purgatory. Gorgeous views of the mountains, very spacious and we had everything needed for our stay. We were also lucky to get 9 inches of snow the first night of our stay which made it the perfect day for skiing and snowboarding.

Beautiful Home Away From Home

Michael was very easy to reach and receptive to help with any needs. We could tell there is pride taken in this home. Great location, convenient to the slopes. Lots of living space to spread out. It definitely felt like a home away from home with it's fully stocked kitchen. Great for cooking anything we wanted to eat after a day of skiing. I could definitely see ourselves going back to this location.

This condo is perfectly located; it’s short walk to onsite hot tub and a 4 min drive to the slopes. The condo was very clean. The beds are very comfortable as well the seating in living room. Family Mountain Gathering

This property was well suited for our group. Parents, 1 adult son and 1 daughter, spouse and 2 children. Plenty of things to do in and around the area. Lots of hiking opportunities, train ride from Durango to Silverton and an outing to Mesa Verde. The home had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked with plates and cookware.

Family Vacation

Our family enjoyed our stay at your home. We had plenty of space for everyone. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and the common space was large. The views were amazing. The resort was quiet and spacious. We played pickleball and swam in the pool/ hot tubs every day. There was plenty of activities close by (kayaking, paddle boarding, rock climbing, hiking, train ride, shopping, cliff jumping, just to name a few) that kept us busy the whole week. Purgatory

This property was wonderful. We had more room than we needed and could have slept several more comfortably. Wood was provided for the fireplace and it was so nice to be able to have a fire and park under the garage so the car didn't get covered in snow. The views were amazing and the tub in the master was awesome. Michael was very prompt with any questions we had. The location was great to the ski mountain. We would definitely stay here again.

Cascade Village, just north of Durango, is nestled deep in the San Juan Mountains and is surrounded by fascinating late 19th century mining towns with a storied history. The mountains are rough and ragged and make for spectacular sunrises. My family has visited multiple times over the years and we’ll surely be back again.

Location is great for skiing, only about a 5 minute drive to purgatory ski resort. Property is clean and cozy, kitchen is well equipped. Would definitely book again.
