"We arrived after a cold and wet journey to warm and welcoming house with a welcome pack full of goodies, which was very much appreciated! The house is very comfortable with lovely beds, comfortable lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. The house is a couple of minutes drive from the lovely Dumpton Gap beach just right for walks with the dogs to Broadstairs for an ice cream at Morelli’s. What more could you ask for!!"

"Luxury it was not. A partial list of the shortcomings: No shaver socket. No toaster. No kitchen knives apart from a bread knife. No chest of drawers for clothing. Nowhere to put suitcases. Nowhere to sit apart from a worn sofa and dining chairs. No oven gloves. No space in the wardrobe which was stuffed with step-ladder, broom, fan and four large pillows. Only one bedside table and no shelving or cupboard in the bedroom. "
