"The property itself was spotless. I didn't see a speck of dust. It is obviously cleaned pretty much daily. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was good. The kitchen was clean and had everything you needed. I would add some baking trays and oven gloves but apart from that it was great! The bedroom was clean and tidy. "Parking was not clear – it was hidden through some black gates between shops, and we had to call the owner to even find out where it was. The property is advertised as “apartments,” but our room was just a bedroom, with the bathroom and kitchen being shared. The place felt unsafe and unhygienic – the cooker alone (see photos) was a good example of the poor condition. We rang the owner, but he didn’t want to know. Hotels.com contacted him on our behalf and he said he would come and “fix it,” but...

"On arrival we were told expedia had trippled booked out the property that we had booked. We were then taken to a house in shelton, which looked like student accommodation, it was disgusting, it had dirty sheets and out of date milk in the fridge. The microwave was also dirty, don't get me started on the clensinous of the house. We could only have 2 out if the 3 bedrooms. At 2 am the police knocked on the door with 2 men who were absolutely out of their mind drunk. They were staying there too....

"So i suppose the price for a night isnt bad, but when youre expecting a whole apartment aslisted and there are others there, its not so great. Stood outside door for 20mins. Not easy to get key via access code( no email before) 2 towels for 3 people, 1 was damp, 1 had a brown 'stain' on it. Bedding old and worn. Headboards dubiously stained!!!!"

"Property was clean. Not as stated entire property. Shared facilities. Bathroom via the kitchen on ground floor had child. Did not feel we could relax here as thought we had entire apartment. Outside next to little shop. Traffic island outside meant couldnt park outside and single line. Area around property made us feel unsafe- wasnt the best."

I rarely leave reviews up to this point but was left feeling like this 'apartment' is a room in a multi occupancy house and it felt a bit.....what's the right word......DHSS ish. I didn't use the communal kitchen as someone in there was, well a bit weird, looking disturbed. I just think I was looking for cheap and cheerful. It was cheap. "
