"Firstly no information on how to enter the property. Had to do an online search to find a contact number to speak the vendor. Who then gave us a passcode and what keypad to use to get access.
Wardrobe within the room, had the right hand door hanging open on one hinge, with the top doors completely off. Tv in the room would not work unless connected to one of the devices. Whilst appreciating that it was a shared communal space which we did not use. Other residents were very loud . "
"Nice place to stay within commuting distance to Alton Towers. Room was a little small for a family and breakfast was limited, but overall a hood stay."
"Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4.
The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "
"I booked two rooms as a last minute stay. Immediately on bookimg I had two phone calls that I missed as I was in my way to the accommodation. I then received a text message to tell me they could not accommodate my booking and to cancel. I was adviced by Expedia not to cancel as this would be against the cancellation policy - I am still trying to get a refund and will probably have to esculate the process"
"We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. "
"The property needs a serious overhaul looking very dated in decoration.
Old wall paper on the walls with marking on the paper , carpets need a refresh , small tv which needs to be replaced with a new tv on the wall.
Bathroom shower worked but needs a new shower as i couldnt properly turn the shower off after use.
Minamul tea facilities in room.
Veru poor standard of accommodation but it was quite cheap hotel .
Think i will book a different hotel next time"

"The house is clean and comfortable on the inside. Outside ally that ran alongside the house had big bins which had rubbish overflowing and spreading across the path. Comms with owner none existent other then a couple of automated messages once I had paid. Not enough towels within the property for all guests no hot water for washing up asked for assistance from owner message never acknowledged. Overall happy with the property but little details could improve the stay. Cheap stay for 7 people and personally I would stay again."
"Very bizarre set up. Set up as HMO rather than B&B.
No Tv. Your not allowed a front door key, so staff come to door when you leave and enter. Although staff are polite, quite alot of miscommunications. Room was not very clean. Shower was blocked and caused a flood. It is in a very bad area and quite noisy till gone 2am. Can hear staff downstairs loud tv till that time too. Very strong smells permeating building. Did use laundry facilities which was nice. Used as a basepoint to visit: Alton Towers,Alton Towers Waterpark and Trentham Estate. Close to Train Station. Close by to shops. I prefer proper B&B/ Hotel set up: Allowed to come as go as you please,tv, privacy. Staff aren't sitting in common area all day. "
