Lovely Space

Really lovely rooms here and close to restaurant strip and great sunset places. The port is also quite close to make trips to the islands. Very safe area. Quiet location and saw almost no one else whilst there. Reception is only open at certain times so only spoke to someone on checkout. But they were very good with instructions for late checkin.

Great place and service!

Our stay at Kala Rooms was very pleasant. The room was very spacious, clean and modern. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay in Lapad. Ezra helped us with check in and told us all about the local area. She was really nice and helpful about any questions we had and professional service. We had a WhatsApp contact for any questions we had and they replied in good time.

This property is in the LAPAD area of Dubrovnik (a quick taxi Uber ride from Old Town). It’s right on the marina with beautiful views, walking paths and walkability to some dining, drinking, and markets. The accommodations were very nice and new. There is a Bar across the street with a free pool I recommend if you want to swim or layout. I would definitely recommend this property and stay again! Also, they helped with arranging transportation from the airport as well as a late night check in.

Amazing spot in Lapad area of Dubrovnich. 2 minute walk to grocery store, bus stop, and an amazing promenade that leads you to the brand new Lapad oceanfront with a large public beach and many public stairways down to quiet ocean locations. The area in front of the location is current under construction, but the areas that are finished look fantastic. The host Anela was extremely friendly, showed us the area and good spots to go (she was always right!). Extremely responsive by whatsapp. 10/10, recommend.

Clean rooms. Ezra was very helpful and very quick to respond . My room was on the ground level , and it was very noisy . But to be fair ,I was told at the time of check in that ground level rooms will be noisy. For me mattress was hard to sleep on . The hotel is about 35 to 40 minutes walk to the pile gate and in order to take the bus to go to old town you would have to walk 10 mins to get to the bus stop that takes you there. Area was nice and quiet and plenty of good restaurants close by .

The property is located in Lapad, in a residential area, not anywhere close to main attractions. The room was clean with ample amenities. The front desk does not have staff physically present most of all the time; therefore guest need to call if there are any issues. It is very problematic when the front desk staff does not answer phone calls from guests in timely manner and guest have to be waiting a long time for a response.

I enjoyed my stay here. It was a little expensive but all of Dubrovnik is during the summer. That being said, the room was quite luxurious. There was a hot tub outside which looked really inviting. The property is a 5-min walk to the bus stop, where the bus to the Old Town stops and is a 10-min ride max. At night, the area was very safe. I would recommend this place to solo travelers, couples, and families. The only issue was Wifi connectivity was poor-to-nonexistent on my last day. I’m sure a phone call and quick reset of the router would have taken care of it. A minor issue. One more thing. It’s better to stay in this area than to stay in the Old Town. Given the summer crowds, it is good to get some quiet at night.

The room was modern and clean, and had excellent air conditioning to beat the summer heat. It is not like a traditional hotel with front desk staff, but we were fine with that. It was very convenient to stay away from the Old Town and Uber back and forth. Would definitely stay again!
