People walkin through theMy brother was discriminated against the front desk staff is rude and disrespectful told me i would be lucky if i got a refund when my stay was not completed checked out after being there only a hour. "I honestly do not know how this hotel is operating at the price point they are charging. I checked in during a sold-out weekend in Chicago and paid nearly the same price I later paid at a much nicer DoubleTree, which made this experience even more disappointing. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt uncomfortable and unsafe. The hallways, rooms, and overall condition of the property gave very little confidence in cleanliness or upkeep. I refused to sleep under the hotel sheets and ended up using my own blanket and pillow from home just to feel comfortable enough to rest. The parking lot activity was strange, guests appeared to be lingering around in ways that felt unsettling, and at one point I noticed the lobby ATM was literally unplugged. That alone should tell you everything. The overall vibe felt less like a hotel and more like a place people were just passing through temporarily with no management presence or standards being enforced. I checked out early because my peace of mind matters more than “making it work.” If you are traveling alone, with family, or for business, I strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere. There are far better options in the same price range."

"The person at the desk when we checked in was great and a hard worker (when we saw him the next morning, he was washing windows). He was the only highlight of our stay. The room needed a lot of maintenance. The air did not work at all. When I turned on the water in the shower, it came out orangish-brownish-rust. The traffic was very noisy. The electrical outlets were loose and didn’t hold my phone charger. The chair in the room was so worn out, the green material was completely absent on the seat and most area of the arms, showing a layer of black vinyl-like material. We travel a lot and this was in the top two worst rooms we’ve ever stayed in."

"Absolutely horrified with the experience I had with this host. First and foremost I want to start this off by saying, I had a good time, and the place is very spacious and is almost mostly like how it seems on the listing. However, there were many faults to this house as I mentioned to the host. The upstairs closet door was not properly placed or put on, and when I went to try to open it to place my belongings, it quite literally collapsed on top of me. Brought it up to the host and they tried to make it seem like it was an accident and that I broke it. Insane. I booked it for 9 guests, and all 9 of my guests had issues with ants / and spiders and one of my guests saw a white stain on her sheets as she was headed to bed. So the cleanliness, not all there. One of my guests put a hole in the wall with their carrier as we were leaving and we took full accountability for that and the host instead of communicating just had an email sent over to us with a bill for the repairs needed for the wall and other things that were not our fault. So dissapointed that they took advantage of that unfortunate situation to try and blame us for other things. When I brought it up they used incredibly unprofessional wording such as “stop the press” “move around” told me to come over and fix it. Absolutely insane. Oh also! Let’s not forget them boasting saying they gave us a great place for my “little money” HA! If you want a ghetto fabulous host this is definitely the place for you! "
