"This is my second time in two years staying at the Kokusai Hotel in Sendai. The breakfast is one of the best in Japan, and a good reason to come back. The rooms are very clean and quiet. They tend to be on the smaller side, but are a good value for the price. It would be nice if the front desk staff spoke better English. Communications can be a challenge."

"We were so grateful that the hotel is situated right at the Sendai JR station with direct access. It was a rainy day and our original plan was unfortunately scraped.
