"Beautiful hotel, but you can tell the upkeep isn't the best. We loved our room, but the fireplace didn't work, there was a patch in the wall from the doorknob that hadn't been painted, the toilet seat was loose, and the windows were filthy. For an historic building, turned into a hotel, it was a great stay. Just needs a bit more attention to detail."

"The property is obviously undergoing renovations and is very nice for a short stay. The beds are very comfortable. The place has everything we needed. The next upgrade may have to be the living room furniture, which is past its usefulness. Host was responsive to communication."

"Martins house was perfect for our needs. We could easily walk to Niagara Falls State Park and even across to Canada. The house was clean and in good repair. Martin met us at check in and was very friendly. The only downside is the neighborhood is a little rough. Martins house is nice, but there is an abandoned building next door and others nearby."
