The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
The Good:
1. The host was friendly and attentive when required
2. The apartment is close to all key tourist attractions
3. The beds and pillows were very comfortable
4. Towels were provided for the shower
5. The apartment was clean
The Bad:
1. The upstairs neighbors are extremely loud. If you’re a light sleeper forget about getting any rest or relaxation. Between the crying baby all night long, what sounded like a dog banging on the floors and the people themselves it wasn’t pleasant.
2. The furniture wasn’t very comfortable in living room.
3. The lock to the apartment door wasn’t very safe. It consists of a push lock and a slide lock that could easily be broken into.
4. The kitchen has mismatched dishes and no dishwasher.
The Ugly:
1. The neighborhood isn’t as friendly as we expected. The neighborhood was run down and several houses on the street are dilapidated. The neighbors across the street were friendly but the surrounding area was definitely a little sketchy.
2. For some reason people loved drag racing up and down this street all weekend long at 1-3 am.
3. The area isn’t safe to walk through at night especially for kids.
Overall it’s close to all main attractions we were hoping to walk to those but the area isn’t ideal for late night walks. For what we paid if was fine but it would of been nice to have the WiFi documented in binder with local eateries or attractions for guests to visit. We did enjoy our stay despite getting little rest at night.
