"We arrived at the VRBO property 15 minutes prior to our scheduled check-in time. Unfortunately, we had trouble reaching the host despite several attempts to communicate via message. We waited for over 10 minutes after the check-in time, with no response from the host. At this point, we were left without any communication or assistance.Fortunately, I contacted VRBO customer service, who were able to help resolve the situation. However, the lack of response from the host was incredibly frustrating and left us with a very negative experience. "Enjoyed our stay (2 nights) at this home just a 5 minute walk from Pena Blanca beach. Home was very clean, and appeared to be in the process of being remodeled, all the areas open to guests were complete. The bathrooms were recently re-finished and had nice tile and new fixtures. Every room had A/C, it was very comfortable for our family of 6. Only downside was there was no glass in the windows, only shutters, so there was a lot of noise from the neighbors kids, dogs, and chickens. (5:00 a.m. wakeup call from the rooster every day. and dogs barking past 11:00 at night). Overall good experiened and we enjoyed our stay."
