"The room was beautiful, comfortable, great AC and wifi, the hotel itself is breathtaking, with a variety of plants and gardens, the buffet breakfast food (which was included in our package) was EXQUISITE. The dinner buffet was a bit too expensive for what it was. 13000 SLR for two people (which is about 60 CAD). "

"My brother, a Monk, my wife and I stayed here. The staff were so friendly and kind. Luckily, it is away from the coaches of tourists and is quiet and calm. The views are amazing.When we return to Ella we will stay here. No hesitation in recommending it. "

"Monkey's and birds were great...room was average. Could stand to clean construction debris from below the room. Beautiful environment around Ella...waaaay over developed! Alot of price gouging going on. I have no desire to return there. Thailand or Cambodia are much better deals from my experiences over the years."

"The hotel is located off an unpaved road high in the hill country. While the views are phenomenal, the location is far from the major attractions (e.g., tea plantations, waterfalls), especially given the nearby road conditions. The rooms themselves were small and basic in terms of furnishings. There is no A/C in the rooms, so the humidity is high and require opening windows. The closest village has limited dining options for tourists, so we ate on site. The food quality was 'ok' with a mix of Western and local options. For what this property is and its location, the price per night is high. Key positive highlights are the views and the warm hospitality of the staff. "
