"Very peaceful by the river. Beautiful views. Nice having an indoor pool, jacuzzi. If you rather be outside there is a fire pit with chairs, (fire wood provided too!). Nice breakfast provided in morning 6-9:30am. We really enjoyed the stay!"

"We found this place to be an ideal location could not be any better right on the river convenient drive to Dillsboro, Sylva and other towns near by and rafting, canoeing, Great choice of stores, restaurant's breweries. As for the cabin was very clean an loved the back porch, Our only complaint would be that it is quite dated and could use some TLC drapes, bedding furniture, But all and all we had a very nice stay and is doggie friendly,"

"This was our second time staying, we rented a smaller cabin on the same strip the first time. We were hoping to rent the same cabin again, but it was fully booked so we got the larger cabin. We were only 3 so it gave us some extra space. It was wonderful to be on the river, since my boy enjoy fly fishing. It’s close to town, so lots of little stores and restaurants to explore. Very responsive host, easy check in and out!"

"Nice property. Beautiful golf spot if you are a golfer. There is also a nice pool and grill/patio on the back for a cocktail and beautiful view. Was disappointed I did not get the queen room in the main building which I booked. We were given a double queen in a far off golf view. "

Finally I came across the Comfort Inn & Suites near by in Maggie Valley, NC. This place was very clean and inviting. When I checked in the gentleman was very nice and knowledgable of the area.
