"You are literally on Tomales Bay when you stay here. Two of our 4 nights, about an hour before sunset hundreds of birds, mostly cormorants gave us a show right off of the deck, diving and flying. "This is a lovely home surrounded by trees. The deck and porch were a favorite spot to unwind after a day of adventure. We found this to be a wonderful basecamp as we explored the area. It's close to the coast, Occidental, and Sanoma/Napa Valley wineries. We skipped a day trip to San Fransico in favor of a day at Armstrong State Park. Highly recommend going to the park early for a restful walk on well-maintained trails. "
