"Friendly and happy staff in all areas which says a lot about how the hotel is run. Had my room unexpectedly upgraded on arrival due to a fault found with the originally booked room. The room I had did have a small issue with the private jacuzzi leaking but no major issues. Food and drink were excellent throughout my stay. Highly recommend staying here to anybody wanting a few days of relaxing peace after touring the country."

"We had a wonderful 3 nights stay in a spacious villa which was spotless clean, very comfortable with bathtub and outdoor shower. Plenty of space on the outside verandah to roll out the yoga mats or just sit and watch the monkeys. The pool was refreshing and clean. Praneeth was extremely helpfulf and very interesting to chat to (we learned a lot about Sri Lankan culture, fruits, cooking, meditation etc). He cooked the most delicious traditional breakfast and dinner for us. We felt very spoilt. The location is ideal - you can reach Galle and all desired places and beaches easily with a tuk tuk. We can highly recommend the Jungle Loft to anyone - maybe not so ideal for small children or elderly people because the steps to the villa and bungalows are quite steep."

"This is an amazing property run by amazing and friendly staff. The rooms themselves are unusual and special in design, with an outside (but private) bathroom which is unlike anything else. The pool is nice and the area is surrounded by trees where monkeys jump around and entertain you, but we had no issues with them as they are the shy kind! Would definitely recommend and is great for visits to Galle and Dakata beach which is excellent for surfing. "

"I booked for 1 day and stayed for over two week. Great value comes with breakfast and the room and bathroom beautiful and clean. The room i stsyrd in was a beautiful surprise. The room is on the second floor in family home. Felt safe and comfortable. "

"We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Shore Beach Villa. It’s important to note that this is a private villa rather than a hotel, making it perfect for those looking for a self-catering experience. The views are incredible and it’s very close to Jungle Beach. The owner was exceptionally responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The only minor downside is the spotty WiFi. To be fair, the owners have tried their best by installing two different providers, but the signal remains weak. Even mobile data is slow due to the distance from the antennas. If you're looking to disconnect and enjoy the scenery, this is the perfect spot!"

"This property is a stunning gem away from the heat and bustle of Galle Fort. A beautiful pool and a sea breeze is definite respite during the day A 5 minute tuk tuk ride will take you to the Fort. The rooms are large. The beds very comfy. The shower was perfect. All decorated simply and in keeping with the building 150 year age. Then there is Mohan who appears like magic when you need something. He is kind and friendly, the perfect host..if he offers to make you a traditional lunch or dinner say YES. Fresh fish and prawn curry he prepared was better than any restaurant in Galle. Get some beers or wine and stay in for the night. I am happy i made the move from staying in the Fort to stay here. Thank you Mohan and team for a fantastic. I will be back! Do not hesitate, this is a tranquil oasis."
