The hotel is beautifully designed to take full advantage of its stunning surroundings amongst the vineyards of the Douro Valley, and there are magnificent views from its many expansive terraces and communal areas. A highlight is also its own huge parklands, through which one can stroll all the way down to the river. Our room was very spacious and modern, with all the amenities one expects from a 5-star hotel. The hotel, the pool, the gym were all very impressive but the staff were hands down amazing. After our 2 nights we were meant to change to a different hotel but we didn’t want to leave so we stayed another 3 nights & even today I didn’t want to go. Everything was very easy & convenient, the location of the hotel is perfect and our stay for 5 nights was just amazing. Thank you.m for making our time in Guimarães very enjoyable.
