The free breakfast was served on an ancient stone table, hotel also served a wonderful dinner, it was delicious! Entire place was like a giant storyteller, the ancients buildings and its exhibitions brought you back a thousand years. A beautiful garden and courtyard with partially existing cloister ….. the hotel location also very close to the Portuguese only national park, Peneda-Gerês National Park, not far from Braga. Ideal location between Portugal and Spain! "

"Place is wonderful, clean with an amazing view on the mountains. Very good restaurant at a walkable distance. Breakfast was very good also. There was a dog barking 2-3 times during the night ( both nights)that we could hear from our room… other than that our stay was perfect! We recommend!"
