We used it as a base to travel the area, going as far away as Baden Baden, Switzerland and closer to Strasbourg and Colmar. Nicole is a lovely host and the welcome gift of local sweet bread was wonderful. Thank you"

"We had an amazing stay in this super authentic cottage, made possible by madame Clotilde. She is an excellent host, with unmatched hospitality. The cottage itself has everything you need, including a washer and dishwasher and a comfortable bed. The village has a supermarket for your everyday needs at 2 minutes walking distance. "Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist mit dem offenen Gebälk sehr gemütlich. Das Bett ist bequem. Für zwei Leute bietet die Wohnung genug Platz. Die Vermieter betreiben das Restaurant "Au Brulot", direkt neben der Wohnung. Leider ist es nur am Samstag und Sonntag geöffnet. Der Vermieter kocht selbst und das Essen ist hervorragend. Reservierung ist sinnvoll, weil das Restaurant gut besucht ist (vor allem von Einheimischen). Von Schwartzbach kann man innerhalb von 30 Min. die...

"Pascale and her husband couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. They even helped us with some access issues on the train. The gite is in beautiful surroundings within the forest and literally down the road from Le Struthof. The swimming pool was perfect for the children and really nicely decorated together with the jacuzzi. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a peaceful location in the Alsace."
