"We loved this place! It was clean, quiet and reasonably priced. There’s a restaurant and nice garden area for dining. It is a short tuk tuk drive from the ferry or bus station (4000-5000shillings) across the road is the yacht club where you get a day pass for 10 000 shillings/pp, lots of lounging areas, pool table, showers, lockers and beachfront plus the food was exceptional (one of our favourite meals all trip) and reasonably priced. " I stayed 2 nights in the St. Eugene hostel. Sisters are in charge of the area and they make a brilliant job. Also the guy at the reception. Always kind, helpful and never shy to have a short conversation. The rooms are fantastic. Clean, big and very good price. The food is delicious. I had breakfast and once diner. "Loved our stay at the Lawns Hotel! Situated walkable to all you need in Lushoto and close by all the trails we wanted to trek up! The pool area is adorable and we truly felt like we were part of the jungle. Would recommend! They also have a refillablle water bottle station (with clean water!) which is sooo much better than the constant water bottles you have to throw away!"
