"Superb staff, great rooms, fabulous breakfast and the location is so convenient for the convention centre. We've stayed at a fair few places in Palmy but BK's is much quieter than most. Highly recommend if you want a good sleep."

"In hindsight I'd have loved to have stayed here longer great accommodation lovely space would happily have spent a week here. As it was I was just passing through the area so really didn't get to make the most of the facilities while I was in Turangi. Only negative was the WiFi which dropped out quite a lot. "

"Was there in March, so no snow but a good deal of rain. Rooms are wood framed with an OK bed; but the lights are dim, parking is bad (old asphalt, huge amount of craps in the back where you park: old washer, wood scraps, work shop stuffs, and the whole exterior needs repairs and painting. Nice view from the bars but the wood is bad. Certainly no chefs here. Frozen industrial pizza dough base, forget the breakfast. and I could not stay another day. No restaurants around. Folks fix your place ASAP before it physically fall apart."

"The room was very spacious it had a small balcony, a kitchenette which was a bit small but manageable and a hot tub which was round and accommodated more than 1 person, it was luxurious to use. Walkable to town, a bit noisy on the main road and we only saw 1 staff member who was pleasant but we did have to go away for an hour till the room was ready, which was already past the 2pm arrival time, but it was worth the wait."
