The Industrial Landscape in Norrkoping, Sweden, is a well-preserved area which started in the 17th century and carried on through to the middle of the 20th century. By the middle of the 19th century, Norrköping was the second largest industrial city in Sweden. 70% of Sweden's textiles were woven here. Magnificent factory buildings are proof of the cities industrial wealth. Today, none of these buildings are used in the way they were intended. The sound of the last spinning mill was heard in the middle of the 1970’s, but the area is being preserved. (June 2018)

"Skulle fått SMS före ankomst men det kom inget. Fick besked om att personal fanns i närheten. Fanns inget papper på toaletterna el köket. Fanns inga bestick att äta med en sked. Tog som tur var med egen osthyvel. Fanns ingen vattenskrapa i duschen, el pall att lägga ifrån sig på. Sandigt överallt. Synd med ett så fint läge. Nästa överraskning var betalningen för P-plats, ingen info, dåligt skyltat från vägen, hur många ska behöva klaga på det?? Tyvärr missnöjd trots trevligt bemötande. "

"Was a perfect variety of breakfast, some of the hot food was a little cold as there were no over head heaters ( I believe this is due to there being changes to the dood area). Room was clean and cosy (double room) with tea/coffee (easy to re-stock if needed) and usual shower gel/shampoo/ conditioner (yes i did buy some to nring home, beautiful smell that reminds me of the neautiful hotel). "
