"Our “Classic Double Room” was so beautiful and spacious with many amenities including cozy bathrobes and a balcony with a gorgeous view, very comfortable bed, separate living room with huge storage space and an extra half bath. The decor was warm and inviting and very elegant with beautiful walls and furniture. The restaurant offers excellent choices and the breakfast buffet was expansive and delicious! I can’t wait to come again some day! "

"This was without a doubt our favorite stay in Switzerland. Sunstar Hotel in Grindelwald is simply amazing—the views, the atmosphere, the service, and the location are all outstanding. The staff made us feel so welcome, and the hotel itself has a warm, inviting charm. But what truly took our breath away was the view from our room. Waking up to those stunning mountains felt like waking up in heaven—an experience that fills you with gratitude. We will always remember our stay here and cannot wait to return. "This property is GORGEOUS. The views are absolutely insane. The shared toilet situation isn’t so bad considering there are 2 on the main floor, 2 on the first, 2 on the second, and 1 on the third, with a multitude of showers as well. They also have a washer and dryer which is awesome. The walls are super thin so you can hear everything, but the rooms are quaint and cabin-esque, the views are insane, the staff is so friendly, and the restaurant across the stress is delicious and not too expensive. There’s also a full convenience store with food to cook in the kitchen in the lodge! Would definitely recommend. "
