"There were no staff on site at all. It was like the whole place stopped in time several years ago and you are just sleeping in a big house with strangers- on a mattress that must’ve been made at the time the house was originally built it was so uncomfortable and lumpy. It’s sad because someone has given up on this place but it could be a glorious part of Beverley’s tourist industry with a bit of TLC. I wouldn’t stay here again unless someone bought the place and restored it to a former glory. Even the pamphlets were 2 or more years out of date. Beverley was awesome though. "

"An interesting split between the old and the new. Stayed in the new part, wished I would have stayed in the old part. You may need a map to find your way around. Plan your breakfast time it’s a small dining room for a lot of guests. Excellent grounds. In those infamous words “ I will be back”"

"Heating was broken in my room . There was mold on the curtains and overall not a good hotel cold and damp and dirty . Lift didn't work . I actually left early and checked into another hotel . Would not recommend "
