"Very unique, quiet, peaceful setting wonderful stay!"

"This place is a dump. The website shows mini golf and clear canoes for the pond. The mini golf is a joke weeds over tiny fake turf that is very bumpy. They have a couple clubs but not single putter. Never been upkept for years. One canoe was sunk in the pond and the other was full of water and broken. The owners say they are just for looks. I said you should say that on your website then. The dome tent has no view of the pond it is blocked by trees and shrubs. The wifi did not work and also the...

"It was an experience for sure"

"Not being one to complain but as four women travelling it was not a safe property. There was no no one at the gate so anyone could come in. As we drove into the property there were shacks in the area. In the 2 minutes we visited, we saw mold on the dome, 2 big holes on the bottom of dome. Ants were on the floor. The smell and heat that hit us upon opening the door was unbearable of urine and mold. The outdoor showers were a shower head and a curtain. And of course the door wouldn’t shut tight...

The host, Karen, was very responsive and and friendly. The location is great, close enough to Halifax so its easily accessible but the cottage feels quiet and private. Loved the firepit and the hot tub! "
