"This is where you’d want to stay in Zvolen! Large modern apartment equipped with many amenities for your stay (kitchen, cot, many towels & linens, laundry though no dryer/drying rack). Communication was last-minute but okay. Thanks for our comfortable stay!"

"I was highly dissatisfied as after a long drive and arriving late at night, the hotel informed me that I was not in the system (while I had my full confirmation with me). Moreover, the hotel was not as pictured and certainly not worth 100 USD a night. Nonetheless, after insisting that I must be in the system, the receptionist say `Ah yes, you are right, we relocated you (without my knowledge) to another hotel because we were overbooked.` The receptionist then provided me convoluted directions...

"This is a pleasant 3* hotel. Room was fine, but nothing fancy. Our room had a balcony. Parking is under the hotel, and can be reached by the elevator. Hotel is well located - about a block (through a "tunnel") from the central square. Room could have used more lighting. Desk clerk (Lucia) very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again."

"This is a very posh, small (24 room) 5* hotel, located right in the center of the small town of Banska Stiavnica. We were the only guests that night, because the hotel had blocked reservations to get organized for the summer season (and forgot to block Expedia). The hotel owner was working the desk, and was extremely friendly and helpful. There is convenient and secure parking under the hotel.
