En 15 minutos caminando por un camino estas en el centro. Inmejorables vistas. Bonito hotel. Preciosa habitación familiar en dos estancias, muy bien decorada, muy acogedora. Baño bonito, bien distribuido. Tiene restaurante donde se puede cenar muy buena comida, con excelentes vistas en la terraza. Desayuno riquísimo, el revuelto de huevos con verdura es excelente.

Se não se importa com a distância, é um bom hotel

Hotel bem longe do centro. Precisa ir de táxi ou a pé (20 minutos subindo sempre). Por ser longe do centro, é bem silencioso e com vista muito aprazível. Bom café da manhã, mas certas com restrições: não há suco nem muitas opções.

Penzión na kopci

Šikovne umiestnený penzión na kopci nad mestom. Izba naozaj pekná, útulná. Prístupová cesta pred penziónom končí vo forme šikovného parkoviska, čo je na Banskú Štiavnicu vzácnosť. Do mesta sa dá zbehnúť peši po vyšliapanom chodníku za 15min.... späť do bude trochu do kopca. Mysleli aj pre deti, pieskovisko, hračky, hojdačka, posedenie vonku atď. V reštaurácií som využil len raňajky a tie boli fajn.... nič mi tam nechýbalo.

Acceptable but quite remote

The property was acceptable. However, in relationship to the town, it was quite remote and at the top of a steep hill. I wish I had known this as I had no choice but to walk with luggage from the train station. The room was reasonably comfortable but there was a really strong mold smell. Also, the shower temperature was inconsistent most of the time. The restaurant looked quite nice but I was tired and climbing up the steep hill wore me out even more. The staff was a bit unfriendly with the exception of the woman who checked me in. I would have been much happier without the mold. The internet service was basically useless. Free wifi is only good when it actually works more than intermittently for minutes at a time. The bed was quite comfortable and the place was clean aside from the mold. I do not think I will return. It is too far from the town and there are many other places that are more conveniently located. This place is better from people traveling by car.

Look no further! This IS the best hotel!

When we pulled into the parking lot and got out of the car we could see the beautiful monument Calvary up on the hill. The owner, Vladia greeted us and escorted us to our room. As soon as we rounded the corner of the building the gorgeous view of the old town area of Banska Stiavnica leaped out at us like the page of a magazine! It was amazing! Our room was cute and neat. We are a family of four. It was comfortable for all four of us. The room was up to date and pleasing to look at. We were highly impressed with our entire stay. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful. We ate in the sunroom soaking in the gorgeous view. The filet steak and weiner schcnitzel we ate for dinner were mouth watering! Vladia, her husband, and their staff were all super kind. We can't say enough nice things about this fantastic hotel! It's in a great location and has the best view in town! We hope we get a chance to stay here again!

Good views, good breakfasts

Na Kopci is in a great position, overlooking the lovely town. Good views from the breakfast terrace. Peaceful spot. 10 minute downhill walk through quiet areas to the bottom of the main street. Ample parking. Lovely breakfasts - didn't eat at night there, but it seemed popular with local families. Room we had was one of those (7, 8 and 9 I think) on the side and under the main building, so we did hear the vacuum cleaner upstairs in the morning. But friendly welcome, attentive and smiley staff throughout, and a great base to chill and to explore from. (And talking of exploring, it's easy to get to the Calvary, one of the edge-of-town must visit sites)

Super experience, I’d definitely go back again

Location and view is beautiful, room is charming, very nice breakfast. We had everything we needed in the room. Also a super hairdryer :) Only thing is that the bed was not that much comfortable.

Pre mna bol dolezity vyhlad na mesto a v tomto penzion doslova exceluje. Do centra a hlavne z centra si clovek trocha zaslape ale za ten vyhlad to stoji. Vyborne riesene aj pre deti - rodinna izba a dostatok bezpecneho priestoru na hranie. Dakujeme za pobyt.

V popise penzionu bolo uvedene, ze na izbe je WIFI, co nie je pravda. Signal na izbe bol taky slaby, ze sa nedalo pripojit. V restauracii a vonku sa WIFI dalo v pohode chytit avsak na izbe to dost chybalo. Na izbe sme mali par pavucikov, cize izba budi dojem, ze nie je zrovna moc cista. TV s 5timi stanicami nam postacovala, inym vyhovovat nemusi. Vyhlad je naozaj nadherny, to sa musi nechat. Tak isto miesto na piknikovanie pri penzione nie je hocikde. Co sa tyka stravy, tak sedy priemer. Skusili sme raz aj obed, ale za tu cenu nebol podla nasich ocakavani. Preto tento penzion hodnotime priemerne.

Výborné miesto v krásnom meste. Je potrebné si poriadne pozrieť pri rezervácii typ izby, pretože sú izby s výhľadom a bez výhľadu. My sme mali bez výhľadu, ale nebolo to zlé. V hoteli sú trochu tenké steny:)
