The Guesthouse Forty Four is a wonderful location to stay in the heart of Old town Dubrovnik. The manager and the staff treated us like family during our six day stay, nothing was too much trouble. The manager even invited us to his 40th Birthday. My wife and I have travelled for many years now and have stayed at some wonderful hotels throughout the world however the staff at Guesthouse Forty Four made our stay memorable and I would have to put this guesthouse at the top of my list of places...

Apartment was well designed with well-proportioned spaces. Good location and easy to walk everywhere. Owner was very friendly and helpful! Can’t wait to stay there again!

We had a wonderful experience- the staff were incredible and the room and view was divine! We will definitely stay again! 2 adults and toddler - kid friendly and such a great relaxing time!

What a pleasant surprise in a sea of lesser class establishments. Mila did a great job in getting us settled, giving us info on Krka national park, places to eat and keeping us updated on the weather. The room was clean had a real working refrigerator and a small functioning kitchenette. We opted for the breakfast as we had an early start and this didn't disappoint on time and plentiful. Our experience at Imperator was excellent in all respects. Marina was great at meeting our taxi and taking us to the room, and Thomas was also great in helping with our luggage to the next hotel. Position was unbeatable, central in the Old Town, and convenient to numerous bars and restaurants (& gelato bars). We were warned about restaurant noise from the nearby dining but never found it a problem. Overall we can highly recommend Guesthouse Imperator.

The owner was very helpful at every turn. The decor was very tasteful while at the same time practical and the location was perfect, in the heart of all the main activities. Even though the apartment was on the third level, we were helped with our luggage and every effort was made to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

We stayed for a couple of nights at the Berkeley and were very impressed. The staff were very friendly on arrival and were able to help us with any questions or issues we had. The room was of a good size with a nice view of the Dubrovnik harbour. There was a little balcony, which was a nice spot to just sit and watch the world go by. This apartment was excellently kitted out with everything you could possibly need for a stay in Split. Ground floor, suitable for any type of traveller including families. Would definitely stay there again.
