"the hotel is perfectly situated halfway along the Douglas Promenade currently where the horse trams terminate. Shops and buses close by. The hotel is very well run - All the staff were very nice people and the breakfast was very enjoyable"

"Classic Lodge wasn't a large room but was adequate for our 5 night stay , room was maintained and serviced well although the bathroom had a musty damp odour ,and floor surface wasn't the best . Staff where very attentive and helpful .Restaurant and menue was limited but fine for one or two nights, Breakfast included was self service buffet just ok hit and miss whether it was hot or just warm , cereals and continental was also available as was a choice from the kitchen cooked to order .location great 10 mins from Ramsey Town and Bus Station/Tram Station ."

"Warm welcome. Clean comfortable room. Excellent food & service @ dinner - imaginative dishes with local ingredients and friendly, professional staff. The only minor negatives were the lack of air-con in the room and somewhat disorganised service at breakfast. However, would definitely recommend and have already planned another stay."

"I received a warm welcome at reception and was able to store my bag until it was time to check-in, later in the day. My room had a sea view and was clean, tidy and contained everything I required during my visit. I'd happily stay here again on any future visits to the Isle of Man."

"Very enjoyable stay over 4 days .. very clean rooms , serviced every day , staff were friendly , excellent breakfast . Evening restaurant also very good . WiFi could be a bit stronger would be my only gripe. Would definitely recommend ."

"The Sefton is a great hotel, ideally located for a short trip to IOM. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar attached to the hotel are good, if you don't want to walk far! Breakfast is extensive and well organised. Didn't get to use the pool, but noted there is a limit to the number of guests in at any one time."

"Excellent location right in front of the Rush Castle in Castletown. The public transportation that services the whole island is very efficient and has a stop right outside the door of the hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable."

"Our stay of a family of 4 was perfect. The Deluxe Apartment was just right. The breakfast was great and very reasonably priced with lovely staff. Very close to everything. Will definitely be back."
