"I had an amazing stay. The room was exceptionally clean, and I really appreciated that you could choose your preferred pillow experience free of charge. The only downsides were that parking came at an additional cost and the staff were not always as friendly as I would have expected. Also, they should be more attentive about who enters the sauna area, as it’s supposed to be for guests aged 15 and above, but I often saw children there, which shouldn’t happen. Overall though, the views and entertainment were fantastic! "

"Town - lovely, hotel - lovely, room - lovely. General communication - poor. On arrival, there was confusion as to whether we had booked breakfast (even though "free breakfast" is shown on Expedia website.) I deferred to the hotel and agreed that maybe we hadn't since no specific mention on my booking. Well, we had a welcome drink confirmed anyway. No, apparently they don't do this anymore. Nothing offered in return, just hard luck. Later that evening my husband went to turn on the kettle that the hotel had provided in our room and immediately all the electricity went off. He went to inform the hotel and was made to feel that it had to be his fault that this had happened. Three times he told them that he had merely turned on their kettle, nothing else, but each time was questioned further - could it have been something else he did? The next morning we went out for breakfast in a nearby cafe. On checking out we were asked if we had eaten breakfast at the hotel. I confirmed that we had gone elsewhere because we understood that it wasn't included. I was told that the hotel had realised the night before that it was indeed included - it would have been helpful if we had been told at that time. We were offered the chance to have it, but by then it was too late. We were also offered the chance to take some food away with us, but, again, we had to rush and were only able to take 2 croissants. This was, at least, appreciated. Lovely place, but poor customer service."

"The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was quiet with lovely windows. The location was great in Banska Bistrica in walking distance to the town square and quick access to the highway. The breakfast was also very good with many options. "

"Nice hotel, clean, great location, few mins walk from city centre. Staff very polite and friendly. We stayed in the suite which is their most expensive room but was surprised we had to pay extra to use the saunas, this should have been included. Also the breakfast choice was limited and with not a lot of choices, especially for vegans/vegetarians or like my mrs for dairy/lactose intolerant. We went at 9.30am one day and there was pretty much nothing left(other than bread) Overall we would definitely stay again, staff, the hotel and location make up for it. Thanks!"
