"we enjoyed our stay"

"Great place to get away from the world."

"The drive into the resort was beautiful and very scenic sights not seen often in Texas. The room was cozy and the deer running around at night and sounds of birds singing was so tranquil. The only thing was no cell phone signal but as a plus its a way to get away from technology for some peace and quiet."

"The view was incredible from our cabin! It was the perfect getaway!"

"Excellent property definitely will come back"

"It was horrible! Don't trust the online pics or the list of amenities they supposedly have. Cabins are the worst, we rented 5 in our group for a family reunion & all were horrible. We all ended up staying at a ranch half hour away & losing our paid reservation but they really could care less! The getaway cabin which was supposed to be nice, had sewer problems & the smell was gaging! They will tell you its the well water to just run hot water & not only does this not work, you end up with cold...

"The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

"Beautiful property and friendly hosts! "

"Easy check in…great communication!"

"Space large. Ease of checking in. Near Lost Maples for the hike."

"Everything was great. Buddy and I were on a motorcycle trip and the location was perfect for riding the hill country. Clean, quiet, comfortable place to stay. "

"We had a wonderful time - Utopia is a treasure for those who want a quiet getaway."
