"This was probably a one-off situation that could have been avoided with proper advance notice. In the week leading up to our arrival, we received three notifications asking us to check in and pay for our stayāthis was confusing, as I had already paid. Once I replied stating that I would settle any remaining balance at check-in, the notifications stopped.
Upon arrival, it was clear the hotel was preparing to host a wedding. As a result, the restaurantāhighly rated and one we had been looking...
