"It was a nice, clean hotel with easy access to Bates College. Parking is super easy. All of the staff were wonderful and there is a generous breakfast."

"Good location, clean and updated rooms. Geographically close to Bates."

"We had a quick one night stay in the area. The hotel and rooms were clean, although dated and a little tired. It was totally perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was very good with several options. Beds were comfortable, and everything worked well in the bathroom. Despite odd location, it was quiet. Nice to have a gas and Dunkin so close. We would stay here again if in the area."

"Beautiful hotel, good breakfast with lots of variety, staff more than willing to help with anything you need, great location. Had a great stay!"

"Great for the price, very nice people."

"clean rooms, good price"

"Great location, friendly staff would stay again."

"Wonderful place to stay. The rooms are so comfortable and the host was very accommodating. Breakfast was outstanding and the best cup of coffee in Auburn. Such a gem of a place!"

"If you are looking for an historic experience with exceptional staff this is your place. It is very convenient to Bates College where we attended a public event. That put us arriving after hours, but the staff stayed up to get us comfortable to our room."

"Staying at this cozy little getaway was the perfect ending to a 10-day vacation (spent my last two nights there). I chose it because it was very close to downtown Freeport and I was there for the Freeport Fall Festival weekend. It is adorable. I highly recommend staying here if what you're looking for is a quiet place away from all the hustle and bustle, and yet very close to Freeport and other areas. I would stay there again."

"Great space for family for a quick visit with family. "

"We stayed here for a family event and the house was perfect for what we needed for our stay. The house was spotless, comfortable and there was plenty of room for us and the rooms were creatively themed. There were plenty of TVs and the pool was a big plus. The basement was a pleasant surprise, with the basketball and air hockey games, along with an exercise bike and TV. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Our host John was very accommodating and quick to reply to messages. We would gladly stay...

"Amazing hosts, amazing property. Absolutely perfect stay from the most gracious hosts."

"This place is gorgeous and amazing. The kitchen was well appointed, bathroom was wonderful - including the Bluetooth speaker, and the view mesmerizing. The hosts could not have been any nicer. If you’re looking for a beautiful, quiet getaway - complete with loons, look no further."
