With each passing year, this property takes a dip. It doesn’t feel well taken care of. They removed carpet in the rooms but it still exists throughout the hallways. They updated the rooms but left wires just hanging where the tv was mounted and the dresser/drawers removed. The bedding is thin and feels like a paper towel. It seems the staff aren’t on the same page. The swim up bar was closed even though front desk said it’s open. Kids run rampant with zero supervision. There’s a weed smell throughout. We booked the night with a heavy discount. This is nowhere close to a $300 a night resort. Feels like a motel six with a pools that don’t feel particularly clean. They even removed a pirate ship with slides. You’re left with just 4 pools, one is a kiddie pool, with zero features you’d typically see from a resort with pools. Stay somewhere else nearby.

There were no dressers in rooms, small refrigerator was frozen so could not use the frozen area, only had 1 ice machine that worked then the ice had a salty flavor to it, the 3 swimming pool were not open on a regular basis. No alarm clock/radio on rooms. Just not a good experience even though it is a walkable distant the park. They need to bring back the Trolley for the guest.

When booking your stay you're sent information that the pools are open from 9AM-9PM. It says nothing about the fact that only one of the pools is open at 9 AM, the other pool was empty, & the other pool did not open until 4PM. Only one hot tub was open and only 3 of the jets worked. This is extremely misleading when you look at the photos and see all the pools. The hotel was dirty, outdated, & in serious need of repairs. Our room looked nothing like the rooms in the photos. Our room reminded us of a hospital or jail. There was no carpet and no furniture. They used the mini fridge as the TV stand. There was no microwave. Our door knob/lock was broken. We were not given enough toilet paper for our stay. Unfortunately we were there for State Track and it was too late to find another hotel or we wouldn't have stayed at all, certainly won't be back.

Front desk staff were amazing even though they had a very rude customer in front of us they still continued to approach us next in a friendly manner/even were willing to fix our air unit later at night. Unfortunately i only marked noisy and cleanliness because normally we book on week days instead of weekends. Their Unfortunately was many birthday parties that families did not care how messy their places were. cake all over carpet walking areas, silverware, music blaring from a speaker on one balcony, kids everywhere with no parental supervision. Many kids even while in the hot tub we would have to keep moving over because they would either back in to us like we were in their spot or would start splashing and talking with trash mouths. Kids not teenagers! I feel bad for the pool workers that kept having to blow the whistles at kids when parents should have been around to tell them to stop doing things so others could enjoy the pool area as well. We will continue booking during the week so we can enjoy our trips to adventureland inn like we always have 😃

This hotel has not been upgraded for years. Our room was using the dorm fridge as a TV stand. Everything around the pools was in poor repair. The slides and play area weren’t open. My I was afraid to let my grandkids play in the areas!

We had an East Balcony room that was updated with low quality materials. Ceiling had a spot with previous water damage from cooling unit and walls needed paint touch ups. Overall room was clean. Carpets in the hallways appeared to be cleaned but could see where they used bleach/other product to get stains out. East pool area was only pool we used which was good. Swim up bar was open but did not order anything. Lifeguards very attentive to the kids swimming which was great to see. Spectators restaurant was good and convenient. Overall stay was good it’s just the lack of keeping property maintained/updated that can be a turn off.

The only thing that was a disappointment was that the pool area that had the swim bar was not open either day that we were there due to lack of lifeguards.

We liked the pools. We wished it had breakfast included. We liked that we could swim while waiting for our room to be ready when we got there early and being able to swim after we checked out. The staff were helpful and kind when we needed anything.

We had a poolside room, but the pool was not open while we stayed there. We paid for a poolside room when we booked it, but they did adjust the price to a regular room after not having a pool available to us. We thought that was a fair trade.

The hotel room itself was very clean and nice. The hallways were gross. Not gonna lie. The pool areas were decent. All in all a fairly good place. But definitely too expensive for the quality. Also I bought a birthday package which included 2 large pizzas and 2, 2liters of soda. There was literally only coke, Diet Coke, and sprite for the options for drinks. Then the pizzas were very small and they only give you only like 5 tiny cups and plates. So bring your own.

This hotel is not well cared for. There is garbage everywhere outside - its obvious there is no outside maintenance or grounds keepers. The inside is not much better. The hallway carpets are disgusting, looks like they have never been cleaned let alone vacuumed. The room was less than mediocre. Sinks didn't drain well. You can tell they were made with cheap furnishings as they don't hold up well near moisture (seems like being poolside rooms they would use something a little more water resistant). Spoke to a cleaning staff member and they were less than friendly. Hot tub was gross. Wouldn't consider staying again.

Went with 3 other families, all having kids. Lobby was pretty dirty along with the hallways. Pool area only open until 9. No where to hangout with our big group. One of the families didn't get their poolside room on the main level, instead got 2nd floor. Another family got locked out of their room because of the card reader being dead. We got locked out of our room due to the metal latch getting caught on the inside. Beds are very uncomfortable. Overall noone was pleased and none of us will ever go back.

our family had a lot of fun with three pools and arcade. They swim up bar was a really cool additive, but very pricey, so just a heads up. The drinks are really good and they have alcohol free drinks for the kiddos. The life guards and staff at the swim up bar were wonderful. The worst part of our stay was that all hours of the day and night there were children running up and down the halls and banging on walls. The room next to us was also extremely loud until about one a.m and started back at 6 am. The adults and kids were screaming, yelling, talking loud and banging/jumping. It kept my kiddos up all night as well as us. The hotel did give us all free breakfast from due to our neighboring room being this way. Overall we had a fun time.

Hamster cage scented?
As someone who frequents hotels as often as 3 days a week, i rarely give poor reviews but I wasn't impressed. The check-in process is lengthy but that is to be expected at 4pm when a hotel is sold out. After making it through the line, we went to our room that was supposed to sleep 5, and have 2 queen beds, I assumed this meant there would be a couch. The first thing I noticed walking into the room was that it smelled like a hamster cage. The 2nd thing I noticed is that there were 2 double beds and no couch. That's not enough room for 5 guests. The smell never did go away and couldnt be covered by air freshener. Not the best but we made it work.

I took my grandkids there for the night so they could swim and have a good time. However, the lifeguards watched numerous adults and older teenage kids do Cannon balls in the pool, so the little kids were getting hurt to the point that a father had to save his son from drowning, while the lifeguard sat by watching, not to mention the water was freezing then we went to our room where there were people fighting in the hallways and no staff was to be seen until we called down there and they came to the room asked the people to please stop left and the fighting began again. This went on for hours Worst place to take children in my opinion highly disappointed

Some parts of the room and balcony were dirty. The pull out couch bed was not working properly. Only 2 jets were working in the hot tub of the east courtyard. Food all over tables by the pool. No signs saying the correct pool time closing. Said 9:30 but they had everyone leave at 9. No clock anywhere to see a time. My nephew started coughing really bad and broke out in chlorine rash. The humidity and chlorine smell was so strong my lungs hurt. Staff were nice and food at the restaurant was good. But just wasn't a good time. Needs some improvement.
