Excellent Stay at Sudamala Resort

Staying at Sudamala Resort was a relaxing, comfortable, and overall high-quality experience. The staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The suites are well taken care of and aesthetically pleasing. The pool and lunch menu are fantastic. The spa is top tier. I really enjoyed the free yoga on Friday morning as well.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. We liked the wonderful breakfast with a gamalon accompanyment. Staff were warm and helpful. The downsides are very long walks inside the huge property, no elevator, hot hallways and property, room was lovely but no lights in shower, bath area. Bathtub was loose and unsafe to use. Bathroom had odors. The bedroom was prefect. Near the beach with beach access so good choice for beach users. Restaurant offered us very bland and lackluster food for dinner. Would recommend looking for other nearby restaurants. We did not stay long enough to enjoy the beautiful pool and spa or other amenities.

Beautiful traditional hotel - highly recommend

Have wanted to stay at this beautiful hotel for ages. Staff are lovely and room was traditional and gorgeous. Enjoyed the day spa. Dogs barking early every morning was a little annoying but not the hotels fault. Would definitely come back to stay,

This is a beautiful property with friendly attentive staff. It has a wonderful authentic feel. The daily a La Carte breakfast was delicious. Once here we booked an extra week we enjoyed it so much!!!!

Sudamala is in an ideal location for exploring the Sanur area. Everything is walkable and there are tons of dining options nearby. The breakfast and spa at Sudamala were excellent. I would absolutely stay here again.

The place has really nice surroundings, a large open garden and in general very spacious feeling. The room was also nice and spacious and in good condition. However, they could consider making more options to store unpacked clothing in closets or so. We did not have enough options for our clothes. Also, staying in Bali and suites oftentimes comes with an open bathroom to the outside, which is a nice touch, however, it would have been nice if the hotel considered providing mosquito repellent especially for the bathroom (which they did occasionally). It was not a problem for us, but something the hotel may consider. The staff is incredible professional and very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very nice and they have a lot of different and even healthy options, we really enjoyed our mornings and the breakfast options. The pool area was again large and spacious and even if the hotel can occupy several guests, you do not have the feeling that the pool area is busy or anything. On the contrary, the pool area is quiet, spacious and very nice with good sun beds, umbrellas and possibility to order food and beverages.

I stayed at Sudamala Resort in Sanur having travelled to Bali for the first time solo. I could not have felt more at ease and comforted by the staff and the premises. The hotel is well maintained and has an authentic Balinese feel. Would recommend to anyone.

Toilet seat was painted in white to look clean so was a bit uncomfortable to use it and shower is a bit outdated. Other than that everything was perfect. Excellent service great architecture.

Beautifully appointed small resort. The gardens, rooms and pool are all beautiful. Staff are always friendly and helpful although we did start to get a bit annoyed by often being approached by staff to on sell their experiences and outings. This could be toned down. On the third night of our six night stay there was a dinner in the garden to which our room looked out onto with about 50 people. They had a live band also. We were not informed at the time of booking and to be honest had we been, we would not have booked this hotel. We complained to the staff and they promptly upgraded our room to a quieter part of the resort. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again after checking if they had any large dinners booked.
